Ontario's Panel on Economic Growth & Prosperity was an arms-length, independent body that reports directly to the public. Its purpose was to measure and monitor Ontario's productivity, competitiveness and economic progress, reporting its findings on a regular basis. It was the advisory body to the Institute for Competitiveness & Prosperity. 

The Panel was chaired by Tiff Macklem, Dean of the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management. Under Tiff's leadership, the Panel focused on improving Ontario's innovation, productivity and competitiveness to position the province as a global economic leader.
